Metadata can be described as the data which is mainly used to provide a specific type of information in a particular document or file. It is considered highly effective in an investigation because it provides the digital forensic expert to use metadata to achieve an effective follow up on activities that have occurred prior, during, or after the crime has been committed for solving the mystery surrounding the case. However, metadata can only be observed or seen by experts as it is hidden. Thus, many criminals try to hide all the metadata. There exist three types of metadata that are considered to be effective in the investigation procedure. These include descriptive, structural, and administrative metadata with diverse user roles during the investigation of a case (Okai, Feng & Sant, 2019).
This type of metadata is mainly related to the description of the resources, especially for identification and discovery. This metadata can be effective for compromised data like title, abstract, keywords, and author. Hence, this type of metadata is mainly used in the initial stages of the investigation procedure of the cases because the data which is gathered through it is considered useful for the identification and finding of useful and accurate evidence that can be helpful in the investigation.
This type of metadata is considered highly effective in the whole procedure of case analysis. The data which is collected from this type of data is considered to be effective for building up the whole case. It is effective in the discovery and collection of the evidence that can be effective in the whole investigation procedure of the case (Beyene, 2017). Hence, it is considered to be the main role player for the successful determination of the case. “This is because data is collected from various sources to come up with precise evidence that can easily solve the mystery of the case when brought together”.
Administrative metadata is considered to be the form of metadata that is highly effective for the provision of useful information for helping the management of the resources. This can provide information related to the time and method in which the resources are built and can also provide effective and useful information about the type of the file which can help solve the mysterious case and find more technical information for the rapid and successful completion of the investigation. This type of metadata is also effective for providing detailed information about the persons who can be able to get access to particular cases and files in the successful completion and progress of the case solving. There are mainly two types of metadata which include perseveration metadata and rights management metadata (Grabus & Greenberg, 2017).

With the funding cuts and shift to philanthropy being sought by governments, the mixed economy funding model is likely to change substantially, bringing with it challenges and opportunities for increasing philanthropy for cultural and creative industries. Discuss the challenges and opportunities.
Answers should be relevant to the chosen topic and consider both academic theory and practical examples and demonstrate an ability to apply appropriate models and theories selectively. Ideally, the answer will consider the UK context in relation to any suggestions for increasing philanthropy.
All academic models and theories should be correctly referenced and a bibliography must be included. Statements should be supported by evidence and authoritative quotations to demonstrate the use of a wide range of reading and research. Work should use an analytical approach rather than descriptive and should display a clear and accurate understanding of basic principles. A thorough and planned approach to the question should be evident with a coherent structure running throughout

Case Study Paper Instructions
Reviewed for Spring B 2019
There are many methods available for conducting research, one of which is a case study. The purpose of this assignment is for you to learn how to conduct and complete a case study.
Instructions: Answer the following four questions using current APA format throughout (including your title page, running head, author note, appropriate vocabulary and sentence structure, introductory statement, in-text citations, page numbers, levels of headings throughout the document, a conclusion statement, and consistency between your in-text citations and references). Use your course textbooks, including your Introduction to Research textbook and the Publication Manual, and at least two additional scholarly references. This assignment must have a title page, plus two to four pages of appropriate content, and a reference page. Give the answers to these questions in your own words and with your own explanation. Cite your sources in-text, and list your various sources as references on your references page.
This assignment is requiring level one headings for each of the questions. Create your own brief phrase for a properly formatted level one heading for each question so as to be clear about which item you are answering. Your headings must not be simply copied/pasted from the questions. An acceptable heading must clearly capture the essence of each question. Headings are typically brief statements. Page 62 in your Publication Manual will remind you of how your level one headings should look. See various sections of your Publication Manual for details about all other requirements in this assignment.
1. What is a case study?
2. What are advantages and disadvantages of this approach?
3. What are some reasons for using a case study approach?
4. Where, or in what ways, can a researcher acquire information/data that can be used for a case study? In other words, what are some various sources for information that a researcher can use in a case study? Note: For question four, these are two ways of stating the same question; these are not two separate questions.

A New Way To Think About Rules To Live by Carl Sagan
A New Way To Think About Rules To Live by Carl Sagan.
Read the essay by Carl Sagan entitled A New Way To Think About Rules To Live Afterward, please write an essay addressing the following questions. 1.Which rule(s) do you live by personally? Give specific examples of how you apply the rules you identified in your life. Why do you choose these rules over others? Defend your personal position with sound reasoning. 2. Red Corp hires you to consult on an ethical issue they are facing. Red Corp recently discovered that its customer database has been hacked and published online, along with the customer database of its biggest competitor, Blue Corp. Red Corp had no prior knowledge of or involvement with the hacking until a Red Corp employee stumbled upon the files published on the internet and brought it to the attention of Red Corp management. Red Corp has no idea how the files were hacked and published, or by whom. Obviously, since Blue Corp’s customer database is also published online, Red Corp doesn’t believe that Blue Corp had anything to do with the hacking (i.e. it appears Blue Corp was a victim to the same hacking as Red Corp). Red Corp doesn’t know if Blue Corp knows about the databases online yet. Red Corp believes that if Blue Corp knew about it, Blue Corp would almost certainly use Red Corp’s customer information against Red Corp (i.e. try to steal Red Corp’s customers). Red Corp checked its account activity over the last quarter, and there doesn’t appear to be any unusual changes in business, so it is unlikely that Blue Corp knows about the databases (yet). Red Corp has begun the legal process of petitioning for its database to be removed from the internet, but the process is expected to take at least a few weeks because of the information rights issues involved. What do you advise Red Corp to do? Tell Blue Corp about the databases online, and hope they will agree to a mutual good faith non-use of competitor information? Use Blue Corp’s database and go after Blue Corp’s customers, in anticipation that Blue Corp will likely do the same eventually? Ignore it and hope that Blue Corp doesn’t find it? Something else? On which of the rule(s) discussed in the Sagan essay do you base your recommendations, and why? 3. Suppose that Red Corp decides to use the database, and begins under-bidding Blue Corp and taking its customers. Witnessing this, Blue Corp investigates and discovers the customer databases (both Blue Corp’s and Red Corp’s) online. If Blue Corp does nothing, it believes that Red Corp will continue to steal customers. Blue Corp hires you to consult on a response. What do you advise Blue Corp to do? Retaliate? Ignore the information and the attack by Red Corp? Something else? On which of the rule(s) discussed in the Sagan essay do you base your recommendations, and why? 4. Did you rely on the same rules in your advice to question #1 and #2? If you did, can you think of a different set of circumstances in which you would have given different advice (and relied on different rules)? If you did not, why not? How were these situations different such that the difference caused you to change your basis of morality? IMPORTANT NOTE: For the sake of these questions, you may assume that the published customer databases cannot be removed from the internet, and that law enforcement cannot help. While in reality, these options would be perfectly reasonable, they aren’t relevant to the purpose of the assignment.
