Arminian view of God’s reign over the world suggests that since people have free will to exercise their choices, it follows then that they can resist the help of the Holy Spirit.28 To this end, man is capable of resisting conversion that results from salvation. Finally, the Arminian perspective relies on man’s free will to guarantee him salvation. In this regard, man is allowed the freedom to believe in the promises of God in order to be saved from eternal damnation. Notwithstanding the free will that is characteristic of the Arminian view, Prussic cautions that this perspective appears to be an avenue for reducing the power of God.29 The scholar argues that, God works ALL things after the counsel of His will.
