UC Berkeley Social Issues in the Pandemic Personal Experience Essay

UC Berkeley Social Issues in the Pandemic Personal Experience Essay.

Please write an essay about some aspect of your personal experience/situation during the time of the Pandemic. You are encouraged to connect your personal situation to broader issues regarding the pandemic as indicated in the essay The Sociological Imagination. Your essay should reflect your understanding of sociology after taking this course. The way to do so is by organizing your essay around concept(s)/terms from the textbook Sociology (only the chapters that we covered in class) and use some of the terms related to the concept. One way to do so, is to choose a key sociological concept as expressed in the title of a chapter and develop your ideas by using terms in the chapter related to it. This is only a suggestion. Whether you use concepts and terms from one chapter or multiple chapters is entirely up to you. However, your essay should follow a sociological theme that is expressed in your title, and flows from your introduction. I am looking for a well-organized and interesting narrative about your experience/situation that reflects the insights from the terms that you have chosen. You should use carefully selected terms in a meaningful way. The number of terms you use and how frequently they appear throughout your essay is not an evaluation criterion for grading your essay. Instead I am looking for how appropriately and completely you use the terms in organizing and developing your insights and analyzing your personal experience/situation.The essay should be 1,250 words long. It should be double spaced. The first line of each paragraph should be intended five spaces. Do not put an extra space between paragraphs.IF YOU NEED THE TEXTBOOK PAGES, PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS SO I CAN SEND THEM TO YOU. CAN’T UPLOAD ANYMORE PAGES ON .
