Environmental Health Hazards and Climate Change Reply Paper.

“Environmental health hazards are ubiquitous in communities across the US and place people at risk for disease or injures” (Nies, & McEwen, p. 252, 2016). Review of the environmental protection agency site, I am choosing climate. Many sources of greenhouse emissions trap heat and make the planet warmer. Sources of emissions are transportation, electricity, industry, commercial and residential, and agriculture…in this order. “Human activities are responsible for almost all of the increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere over the last 150 years” (United States Environmental Protection Agency, Jan., 2017). Climate change is always a big political topic. I didn’t know the extreme effects and the correctability available. Based on the required reading, I have chosen climate for my living area. I could address theses concerns by promoting car pooling and use of mass transportation to cut down on the number of cars generating the largest share of greenhouse gas emissions. Electricity production can be significantly reduced by utilizing solar power. Solar power is the conversion of energy from sunlight into electricity. In reading this week’s assignment, the effects, and realizing something we can do, we are installing solar for my home. Solar energy has many benefits and is a truly renewable energy source. The only one notable disadvantage to solar is the sun does not shine 24/7. I have started telling people what I have learned about solar energy, what we are doing, and encouraging others based on the many benefits of the use of solar energy. Among the many reasons as to why go solar are improving the environment, and cutting energy which is a great home efficiency upgrade!Nies, M.A., & McEwen, M. (2016). WU Qualitative Research on Grandparents Raising their Grandchildren Research Proposal.

Just because you thought of an interesting research question and have a desire to conduct research does not mean that your research will automatically be supported by faculty or funded by an organization. In order to gain stakeholder approval, you must submit a research proposal. Much like an outline of a paper or a treatment of a movie script, the research proposal contains several parts that begin with a research question and end with a literature review. For this Assignment, you compile a research proposal that includes a research problem, research question, and a literature review. For this Assignment,(see attachment) choose between the case studies entitled “Social Work Research: Couple Counseling” and “Social Work Research: Using Multiple Assessments.” Consider how you might select among the issues presented to formulate a research proposal.Be sure to consult the outline in Chapter 14 the Yegidis et al. text for content suggestions for the sections of a research proposal. As you review existing research studies, notice how the authors identify a problem, focus the research question, and summarize relevant literature. These can provide you with a model for your research proposal.Submit a 5- to 6-page research proposal stating both a research problem and a broad research question (may be either qualitative or quantitative). Use 6–10 of the most relevant literature resources to support the need for the study, define concepts, and define variables relevant to the question. Include a literature review explaining what previous research has found in relation to your problem and question. The literature review should also include a description of methods used by previous researchers. Finally, be sure to explain how your proposed study addresses a gap in existing knowledge.

Answer the below question on Supply chain Management

Answer the below question on Supply chain Management.

Please show work. Problem-1 (100 pts) A small but important raw material is an ingredient in a special plastic used in automobile bumpers. The raw material costs $.50 per bumper. The plastic costs $5. The bumpers have a variable manufacturing cost of $25 each. XYZ Motor Company buys the bumpers from the bumper supplier for $40 each and assembles them into its autos. When a repair shop orders a replacement bumper, it buys bumpers for $100 each and charges the car owner $250 including labor to replace it. The original raw material has a bad batch that goes into 10,000 front bumpers. While the bad raw material originally costs $5,00, the problem is not discovered until all 10,000 cars have been sold. The government requires XYZ to recall all the cars and have their front bumpers replaced. What is the closest estimate of the failure cost to XYZ and its 10,000 customers? $400,000 minus $250,000 refunded by the bumper supplier, or $150,000$1 million$2 million$3 million Justify your choice with some rough calculations based on the information given. (Think of the different categories of costs involved.Estimate each of these costs and provide some justification for the numbers.)

I browse internet to gain more knowledge on my stress level. I assessed my stress level using “life change index scale/ The Stress Test”, written by Thomas H. Holmes and Richard H. Rahel. This stress test has three different rows including event, impact score and my score. As event adds up, there occurs increase in score. The higher the score, the chance of becoming ill will also be higher and also the change of returning back to normal health will decrease.
