Last week, you were asked to set up an interview with a Special Education teacher to learn about his/her role. Your interview should have covered questions interesting to you and the following required questions:

Why did you become a SPED teacher and why do you continue to do so?
What are the impacts of recent legal mandates in the classroom?
What should all new SPED teachers know as they prepare to enter the field?
Once you have completed your interview, write a 3-4 page paper that provides a brief overview of your interview and how your learning from the interview will guide you in this program and your career.
