Another difference is that Spengler expresses his pessimism talking about the history and future of human beings, while Western historians are famous for their enthusiasm and optimistic attitude. It can be concluded that the purpose of Spengler’s work is to examine history in a way that is different from the traditional Eurocentric approach. The author focuses on cultures and civilizations, revealing their primary peculiarities and features.
