The literature review should be 10-15 pages focused around a research project of interest to the student on a literary topic. All sources used, references, and/or cited should be appropriately cited with in-text citations and in an accurate Works Cited page in MLA format.
Some categories I would like to include in my literature review are a general overview of the topic. For example, I would like to discuss why people tend to personify death and use it as a character in literature. I would also like to delve deeper into specific books, such as The Book Thief and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and discuss how they specifically personify death and characterize it. I will also most likely have subcategories within the discussion of the two books. However, I would still like to brainstorm and see if I can come up with any more categories. I have found quite a few sources on the categories that I have so far; however, I believe that there is still more out there on this topic.
Feel free to find other sources that pertain to the topic and categories. However, please keep in mind that the sources must be scholarly sources. This means that they must be peer-reviewed journals, books, etc.
