Approach the journal activities as (a) an opportunity to reflect upon and apply what you learn each week based on the assigned readings, discussions, and activities, and (b) an opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise based on your educational and professional experiences in the past.

Write about a child with special needs or suspected needs that you know. You may also choose to write about what you have observed in yourself as a child that might be considered an emotional or learning challenge.

Reflect upon your observations of the child. What are the potential developmental, behavioral, and emotional challenges for this child? What interventions may be helpful in overcoming this challenge? Explain.

Here is the child I want to address for assignment:

An 11-year-old girl has moved to an entirely new school with more advanced academics. She has not been diagnosed with ADHD but has focus issues. She needs accommodations to keep focused on her tasks such as a longer time to complete work as well as reminders to remain on task. She has shown herself to be able to understand tasks and she is also open and receptive to redirection. Socially she is doing well, she makes friends in any surroundings, and she interacts well with older children and even adults because she is advanced in her speech. In this child, it is important to monitor temperament because it can indicate what kind of day she had or is having regarding academics. She does not have behavioral issues and transitions well. Also, to note, she is currently in occupational therapy, in school and after reading group classes to help with reading due to low percentage in reading level, she has done vision therapy and also cheerleading.

**Please use authoritative sources like from government sites or professional organizations**[supanova_question]

Please re-write this Letter of Recommendation for Ms. Jasmine Singh: Written by a renowned Cinematographer

Please re-write this Letter of Recommendation for Ms. Jasmine Singh: Written by a renowned Cinematographer.

 ● My first acquaintance with Ms. Singh was in the beginning of 2017 from her filmmaking partner when they first came together serendipitously to collaborate on the making a film about a subject they were both inspired by,. . . her current film project. ● Skills/Abilities/Strengths: Very creative when it comes to thinking of creative solutions, building mutually-beneficial collaborations and how to still find ways to helping the story move forward in an honest story. Great at finding solutions to setbacks in production. . . ● Persistence (confident): witnessed on this current feature music-doc project that I am an advisor on for her and her filmmaking partner. She stays strong and motivated even during the uncertain times and leads the team with confidence. ● Dependability TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Jasmine Singh, an emerging Photographer and Filmmaker who is an exceptionally gifted and hard working young woman. Over the past year and half, I have seen her dedication to launching her career as a filmmaker on her first feature documentary film, XYZ, that I have had the honor of advising on. She quickly She distinguished herself with her intelligence, her curiosity and her sense of purpose—as well as her sense of humor. I credit Jasmine’s upbringing as a Military brat and an American immigrant for shaping her into a confident, outgoing and effervescent personality with an ability to get things done no matter how unsurmountable they appear at the start. Armed with a gifted eye, she is a natural at translating themes into beautiful shots. Her love for analog––shooting medium format photography and super8/16mm film––pleasantly surprised me and it’s young photographers like her that give me hope for the future of the craft. I am certain that she will be an indelible asset to any production, and recommend her without reservation. On set, Ms. Singh was a consummate professional all around, which was especially a blessing during inevitable setbacks during production. Her ability to spin on a dime while staying calm was instrumental to finding great solutions on the fly. Furthermore, Singh efficiently managed her camera and grip & electric crew while maintaining a very friendly and easy atmosphere, which trickled down to creating a great energy for the entire set. She quickly garnered the respect of the film team as well. Ms. Singh gets my warmest, most whole-hearted recommendation for your University. I believe Ms. Singh’s presence in the program would be undoubtedly a mutually beneficial experience for everyone involved. Sincerely, John Doe
