You have been hired as a consultant for Pristine Urban-Tech Zither, Inc. (PUTZ), manufacturers of fine zithers. The market for zithers is growing quickly. The company bought some land three years ago for $2.1 million in anticipation of using it as a toxic waste dump site but has recently hired another company to handle all toxic materials. Based on a recent appraisal, the company believes it could sell the land for $2.3 million on as an after tax basis. In four years, the land could be sold for $2.4 million after taxes. The company also hired a marketing firm to analyze the zither market, at a cost of $125,000. An excerpt of the marketing report as follows:The zither industry will have a rapid expansion in the next four years. With the brand name recognition that PUTZ brings to bear, we feel that the company will be able to sell 3,600, 4,300, 5,200, and 3,900 units each year for the next four years, respectively. Again, capitalizing on the name recognition of PUTZ, we feel that a premium price of $750 can be charged for each zither. Because zithers appear to be a fad, we feel at the end of the four-year period, sales should be discontinued. PUTZ believes that fixed costs for the project will be $415,000 per year, and variable costs are 15 percent of sales. The equipment necessary for production will cost $3.5 million and will be depreciated according to a three-year MACRS schedule. At the end of the project, the equipment can be scrapped for $350,000. Net working capital of $125,000 will be required immediately. PUTZ has a 38 percent tax rate, and the required return on the project is 13 percent. What is the NPV of the project? Frederick Von Steuben Metropolitan The Declaration of Independence Discussion
write my term paper Frederick Von Steuben Metropolitan The Declaration of Independence Discussion.
Now that we’ve spent some time with the Declaration of Independence, it’s time for you to make a quick (intro + 2-3 body paragraphs) argument about whether or not they got it right. Specifically, were they right to omit the sections they omitted, or were these mistakes? Be clear about answering this question.
Support your answer by leaning first on the text, the Declaration of Independence, making note of what they included and/or what they omitted. The strongest arguments will include specific quotes from the Declaration itself followed by your commentary on the deeper implications of the wording OR of the decision to omit that language.
Evidence for this argument should also include specific references to historical events or current events that can be directly tied back to decisions the framers made to the final document in 1776. Like before, this should not involve research. Instead, reference what you can from history and/or current events that can be tied back to decisions made on what to keep and/or what to omit from the Declaration of Independence.
This is an opportunity to do more with rhetorical modes. Which could help you develop this argument? Which evidence from today could help you support that argument?Rubric:Claims, Evidence, and Commentary. Effective12 ptsThe writer synthesizes specific evidence from multiple sources–including historical texts or events, current events, pop culture, and personal experience–stating somewhat complex (synthesized) claims. The writer supports all claims with a clear line of reasoning. AND Commentary convincingly explains how the evidence supports the line of reasoning.Paragraph Use: Effective8 ptsThe writer organizes the argument intentionally, moving from introduction in which the writer articulates a clear thesis, through body paragraphs organized with rhetorical modes (e.g., Definition, Compare-Contrast, Cause-Effect) and sequenced logically.

Mental Representation Is Based On Imagery Psychology Essay
Mental Representation Is Based On Imagery Psychology Essay. There is few ways of representing thoughts in our mind, in this essay, we will be discussing about how mental representation is based on imagery, and also talks about whether speech recording is necessary for reading or not. Eysenck and Keane (2000, pp. 243) argued that, “A representation is any notation or sign or set of symbols that represents something to us.” In general, mental imagery is “the mental invention or recreation of an experience that in at least some respects resembles the experience of actually perceiving an object or an event, either in conjunction with, or in the absence of, direct sensory stimulation. Internal, mental representations consist of symbolic representations and distributed representations (QuinlanMental Representation Is Based On Imagery Psychology Essay

respond to this post in 7 sentences or more. Are we making the same mistakes as we have in the past? That’s a good question. I’m not sure I can fully answer that. I can see both sides to this issue though. On the one hand we aren’t being good Christians if we turn away those who are needing help and refuge. On the other if we let them in and they are going to blow something up harming others in the process, do we really want to let them in instead of protecting ourselves? It’s a tough issue to go over. I don’t know there is a real solution to this one.As for the sources: For the first, second, and fourth links I get the following when trying to open it up,email.strayer.edu/owa/auth/logon.aspx?re…. Don’t know if this was in error or what, but I can’t view them as I can’t log into them. cruxnow.com/church/2015/11/13/the-vatica.. – While what they are saying is good, and it looks creditable, I would have to doubt that it is. They quote the Vatican, but there are no sources listed anywhere for this article. It says that the Crux staff wrote it instead of which ones on the staff actually contributed.christianitytoday.com/edstetzer/2015/nov..- This one actually looks creditable. They look to have sources, and they have places where you can click and got to articles from what the author is talking about. I would more tend to think this site more creditable than anything so far.thenation.com/article/fdr-and-holocaust/.. – got a ‘Page Not Found’ error when trying to view this article.video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/search?fr=yhs..- Youtube is an iffy thing to consider creditable. People can make just about anything up with videos now a days. The videos with CNN involved I would deem those creditable. Anything else though I wouldn’t bother with when it comes to sources.christianitytoday.com/edstetzer/2015/nov.. – I do believe this is a good source. The links head to other places that show creditable sources.
