I have to write a paper on a rhetorical device found in a document we read in class. I have selected the short story “The Pedestrian” by Ray Bradbury and i want to focus on metaphors. I have a rough body paragraph done which could be split up into two paragraphs potentially. I need an intro paragraph with a main claim about how the use of metaphors in the short story explains the potential dangers of technology in society and the isolated existence that comes alone with it. 750-1000 words, double spaced, MLA, 12pt Times New Roman, in text citations, and direct quotes. Body paragraphs should have topic sentence, evidence, analysis, and link.
