This week’s writing assignment will be a short story prompt and will give you an opportunity to experiment with the Modular form in a creative way. The assignment should be between 300-400 words, but feel free to go a little longer.
Stories written in the Modular form are often a character’s memories about a particular time. Imagine a character looking back on a period of their life. Have them tell a story of that time through fragments, little bits of dialogue, and images that collage together to create a larger picture of that period.
