Hofstra University Sampling Design and Records Obtained Thesis Paper

Hofstra University Sampling Design and Records Obtained Thesis Paper.

Sampling design assignment (10-points) Learning Objective: Student should be able to use MS Excel random number generator to select a list of numbers as study participants. Student should be able to use a list of criteria to demonstrate stratified sampling design using MS Excel. Problem statement: You are the lead researcher on a project to examine N=101 recreation facilities at Hotels in the State of Indiana. The records obtained from a government computer show a particular number of recreation facilities at these hotels, and at this point in the study you are interested in verifying the types of facilities. Sadly, there is not enough time and resources for you to visit all 101 open recreation facilities at the hotels under consideration, so it becomes necessary to choose some sampling scheme in order to obtain a representative sample of hotels. Problem statement: The primary investigator on a city parks project has taken notice of your skills and wants you to examine the relationship between playground type (small playground, large playground, no playground) and whether whole families patronize the parks. The city has provided you with a list that has all current (N=150) park IDs, total current patronage by family size and a playground type flag. For simplicity, the list has been sorted by the playground type indicator. Suppose N = 101 hotels with open recreation facilities are recorded and a sample of size n = 30 is to be drawn and analyzed. All elements of the sample should have an equal non-zero chance of selection.Choose 30 hotels at random and record the hotel index number. Paste a screen shot of your MS Excel randomly generated hotels list here (Hint: Use random number generator in MS Excel as demonstrated in class) – (3 points) Using the attached MS Excel spreadsheet, draw a proportionate stratified sample of size n=30 from the list using playground type as your strata. Assume that playground type is spread equally among city parks. Complete the table of Counts & proportions below (3 points):Paste your new dataset (n = 30) here (4 points): Count Proportion (%) Large playground Small playground No playground Total (Note – your new dataset should display the correct proportions for the 3 categories of playground types. The steps for completing this assignment were demonstrated in class. See Week 2_Lecture 3, slide 29)

I’m working on a writing report and need a sample draft to help me study.

Please read Chapter 5, “Framing Every Quote” in this week’s Readings section before doing this activity. As the chapter points out, selecting quotes to support your claim is a very important part of your paper. In Week One, we chose some quotes and responded to them as a way to help generate ideas for what it is we eventually wanted to say. By now, however, you have a much better sense of what your exact argument will be and you’ll need to find quotes to support your argument. When selecting quotes, you’ll want to consider how vital the quote is to your argument and whether or not the quote would be better paraphrased instead. A good time to quote is when the author uses such exact language that a paraphrase would lead to inaccuracies, or when you want to focus on the specific words the author uses because you want to agree or disagree with the word choice or make a nuanced point. So, please revisit the articles and re-highlight what quotes you now think are vital to your argument. You have also chosen several quotes in your annotated bibliography. You may use those quotes as well.Write three quotes below in a “quote sandwich” where you briefly introduce and explain your quote, so it makes sense in the context of your argument and then explain the quote.

write a business proposal

write a business proposal. I’m trying to learn for my Business class and I’m stuck. Can you help?

Business Proposal Assignment
On page 410, you will see a sample case regarding Warby Parker.
You work as a communication specialist at Warby Parker, reporting to co-CEO David Gilboa. Using the skills you’ve been practicing in this course, respond to this challenge:
You’re helping Gilboa prepare a report about the company. Gilboa characterizes the report as a “public business plan,” in that it will discuss the company and its objectives, strategies, and operations without disclosing the sort of confidential international that a typical business plan includes. The target audience includes potential investors, employees, and business partners.
To help overcome shoppers’ reluctance to buy eyewear online, Warby Parker offers Home Try-On, in which people can order five pairs of frames, keep them for five days a no costs, then decide which pair they would like to order. This gives shoppers lots of time to try on the frames they are considering and get the options of family and friends.
On the job (Internal, Unsolicited Proposal): Write a 2-3 page internal proposal to your boss or supervisor. Select one of the topics below listed as A-D, and make sure to include it as one of your headings. Remember to include additional headings or sub-headings for each section in the proposal that explain this program- i.e. Background, Solution, Recommendation. Make sure to correctly identify and analyze your audience, as well as any possible secondary audiences. Usually, the person to whom you submit your proposal is in a position to order the implementation of the change recommended.

Home Try-On: Making online shopping even better than in-store shopping
Home-Try On: Our tried and true way to eliminate the risk of buying eyewear online
Home Try-On: Now you can try on five frames in the comfort of your own home
