I didn’t really have an opinion of the Mona Lisa before this lesson, it’s a beautiful work of art but I didn’t think too much about it other than being the most famous painting people talk about. I learned the painting is located in Paris, it attracts over 60,000 people a year to come view her smile, and it was painted between 1503 and 1505. I also read that the true identity of the lady is unknown.I’m not an art major and studying styles, techniques, history, etc., and just not being a huge art critique in general, so I’ll be brutally honest with all the discussions and assignments and do my best to connect emotionally or other ways to paintings and works of art. That being said, I personally don’t see the big hype surrounding this work just since I’m not connected to it emotionally. It is a beautiful portrait but it doesn’t do much for me to absolutely want to see it someday. If I do, I do, if I don’t, it’s not going to break my heart.

In the data transmission, communication is been initiated in between tow or more than two devices is been transmitted through air with no cables connection but using electro-magnetic waves that include radio frequencies, infrared and satellite . Based on the wireless networking , there are the technologies that have various systems and devices that are been connected without cables . For example, WLAN(wireless local area network) which will fall under the Wi-Fi. This is low power wireless transmission that the electronically device like as laptops, other systems and smart phone are used in sending or receiving data (Agarwal, 2015).
Few wireless networks will range to be limited extremely due to the lower transmission power so users could comminute or transits at close range that will serves as communications hub.

Developing A Mobile Application For Kingston Library Computer Science Essay

As part of my course, I will be developing a mobile application for Kingston University Library for my dissertation. The application will be designed for Android devices. I chose Android platform because it is distributed under open source licence and becoming hugely popular. Also Android app developer can take advantage of the mobile hardware design and can sell the app easily in Android market. The main users of my application will be students where they can access the system by login using their ID and password. My application will have a library catalogue search feature which will return a brief summary, book details and availability for each entry. The application will also include basic information about all libraries, such as locations, opening times, contact details etc. Accessing the online resources and Epay are currently not included in the requirements but which can be implemented if time permits or at a later stage. As the code will be written in Java, JDK from Sun has to be installed on the system. I will be using Eclipse IDE to develop the application.
