Child Welfare Services Discussion

Child Welfare Services Discussion.

Part 1 Analyze the role of poverty in the current state of child welfare services.2. Propose specific ways in which we, as a culture, can elevate children’s status in American society.Part 2Find one JOURNAL ARTICLE from a peer reviewed journal no more than 5 years old on a topic of your interest related to child welfare. This should be a 1-2 page typed review following APA format. My advice would be pick one topic (e.g. child sexual abuse, single parent families, ad infinitum) and do each of your assigned article reviews on that topic, but that is not a mandate. Read the article carefully three times. Then write a summary of the article that is between 400-450 words. Submit via Canvas. Tell what the purpose of the article was, the conclusions of the researchers, and any relevant information you think would be useful to the reader of your summary (ME). If you have any criticism (positive or negative) include that. Most importantly, describe thoroughly what you LEARNED. In addition the reviews will be evaluated based on:After locating a peer reviewed journal article no more than 5 years old reporting a research study, answer the following questions. What type of research is used in the article? Remember that the 3 main forms of research are qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods. What was the research question or hypothesis? What results were found? (2 Points)What are the implications of the results for human services? That is, what kinds of services or policies should agencies provide, based on this article?(2 Points)What is your opinion of this article? E.g. does it support or contradict your beliefs, what you learned in the text etc.? (2 Points)Reference the article according to the American Psychological Association (APA) style For example: Warriner, D. S. (2007). Language learning and the politics of belonging: Sudanese women refugees becoming and being “American.”Anthropology & Education Quarterly, 38(4), 287-343. 7. Evidence of proof reading (fewer than 3 typos). (2 Points) 8. Article from a professional journal. (2-5 Points)

I’m working on a Computer Science writing question and need an explanation to help me understand better.

The goal of the project is to implement a “prototype” database system application / ERD diagram for an eCommerce social-network system called UCOnline where users can explore information about books/music/software, rate your purchase, identify purchase price and see ratings of their friends. The project will require you to complete the assignment individually. Below you will find the ERD deliverable requirements. There are two parts to the assignment. You must create a diagram using a diagramming tool AND provide a written text-based document explaining your relationship mapping (systems analysis use case document). The assignment is worth 30 points. See rubric for grading scheme. BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS ACROSS ALL ASSIGNMENTSYou will work with book/music/media information, user information, ratings of books, and users’ social networkEach book has an id, title, publication date, publisher, ISBN, functional category, page count, price (publisher), and product descriptionThere are 3 categories of book: fiction, non-fiction, and specialtyThere are 2 categories of music: digital and media-basedAn author can write one or more books.A musician can be a solo artist, part of a group, or bothAn author can also be associated with one or more publishers.A musician/group/act can be associated with one or more music housesAn author’s book can have one or more editions.A song and or album can have more than one version/edition (i.e. EP, LP, CD, DVD etc)A publisher can have many authors and many books.A record company can have many artists associated and many albums associated with it. A record company can also be the publishing company (i.e. self-publishing)Many ISBNs can also be associated with a given publisher but only one ISBN per form of medium (ie the ISBN is the PK no matter what). An author can write many books. An artist can write many songs, albums etc.UCOnline needs to keep track of user ratings for each item sold in the online store (e.g., 1-5 and 1 for ‘Dislike’, to 5, for ‘Awesome!’).A particular user rates a particular item at a given time.A user CANNOT rate the same multiple times unless there are multiple editions of the item. Each edition can be rated separately. Each user who submits a rating will be identified by a unique id and has a name, gender, age, and location. Nothing is anonymous. There is also a social network between users. Users can send communication requests (i.e. instant messages/emails) to other users. Such requests can be accepted or ignored. Once accepted, the two users are considered ‘book buddies.’ If ignored, the user can send the request again. We want to add a store when the requests were sent (timestamp), the result of the requests and when the request was answered (timestamp).

How does this relate to your own personal experiences with police discretion? Finally, why is the narrator doing this video from a Mexican beach resort? (ok, you don’t have to answer the final question, but it does make me curious…)
