Background: Nations in the Caribbean Basin are faced with a toxic mixture of poverty, political instability, and trans-national crime. Conditions in these developing states have created a vulnerability to predatory incursions by Chian and Russia, with a risk of weakening our long-standing relationships. Currently there is no focused, overarching international organization that fuses all aspects of the Diplomatic, Information, Military, and Economic spectrum that synchronize the United States and its regional partners to promote economic, legal, security, and common democratic values.
Question:
Integrated Deterrence way ahead
• What will Integrated deterrence look like in the future?
• How will it look in the integrated battlespace of tomorrow? Integrated IOs, cyber space.
• How will this change how we leverage our regional partners? what more will we need to offer them? What more will we need from them?
• How will this help us fight our adversaries and win in this AOR.
